 Pudzianowski vs. Najman
This fight will take place 11th of December in Warsaw’s Torwar hall but it excites huge emotion among spectators since the very moment of its announcement. By many sports commentators this fight was called :”the year fight”.
For the first time the strongest man in the world, the repeated five times Strongmen World Champion will meet in the ring with the professional boxer but also the former kick boxer(repeated twice vice champion of Poland in kick-boxing) Mariusz Pudzianowski i Marcin Najman do not like themselves, so the fight promises so much emotional. The clash will take place in MMA formula, so everything is permitted, kicking, dropping, suffocating etc.

-It will be a clash between giants. Pudzianowski muscles the most, and you are not also a kind of infirm…
I weigh 105 kilograms and to the moment of the fight I’m going to drop 5 kilograms. Pudzianowski weighs now 130 kilograms during the fight he will reach 125 kilograms.
-So are you going to lose weight? Are you not afraid that he will defeat you using his mass?
I am not supposed to push with him but to win using my speed. The strategy is the most important in this fight. I think that in this fight will win that who will prepare better physically and mentally.
-What is your recipe to defeat Pudzian?
The biggest advantage of Pudzian is huge almost supernatural strength. My advantages are speed, experience in the ring and boxing skills. I want to win using a fast counter to head. It will be the easiest.
-This fight will be a kind of fist fight?
This is a MMA fight- mixed martial arts. Everything is permitted- we can kick, suffocate we can use tricks and blows from all styles and martial arts. Even though someone lays it is permitted to jump on him.
-There are no limits?
There are two limits- it is no allowed to kick a contestant in head and jump on his head and the blows under the waist are forbidden. Besides that everything is permitted.
-Will you wear boxing gloves?
Gloves to such kind of the fight are small. They are three times smaller than a boxing glove. They cover only bones, the fingers are free to enable tricks. That’s way the blows will be more painful for an adversary. This is a real fight it is close the most to so called…”brawl”
-How many round this fight will have?
Two rounds each will have got five minutes.
-So short?
In the fight whereas all tricks permitted whereas you can do almost everything this is lots of time. If two round will not decide who wins the extra time will take place. But I do not believe in extra time and I do not believe that fight will last two rounds. There is no such possibility.
-Are you not afraid that Pudzian torment you that you will not stand fit?
No I am not, much longer the fight will last , much bigger are mine chances to win. Pudzian may win till second minute. Afterwards his chances will get smaller.
-What after the fight?
It is the biggest challenge in sports life. If I win it will be my huge success. The victory in such a kind of fight it is something really historical. It will be spoken all the time in Poland. For the first time happens that the strongest man in the world, the repeated twice World Champion crosses his gloves with the boxer.
-Are you going back to boxing?
Of course. We will see what will be the result of this battle. If I win for sure the interesting offers will appear.
-You have got much more to get than Pudzianowski?
Yes. I still wonder why Mariusz decided to such kind of confrontation. He can lose everything. He gets huge incomes of adverts thanks to his image of almost superman. Almost everyone in Poland knows Pudzianowski as someone strong and undefeatable. He can lose everything during this one fight.
-Are you not too self-confident?
Pudzianowski is too arrogant, he does not admit that ha could lose. But I have got something that he hasn’t – the experience in the ring. I know how bowls hurt, I know what avoids. I am fastest than him.
-Do you think that it can be as during the fight between Adamek and Gołota. That shorter and defter wins?
-Adamek is my good friend, we trained little together, he helped me a little to the fight with Pudzianowski. I think, however, that despite everything Gołota is a better boxer. He was not able to prepare to his fight. Did you pay attention to his left hand? It was almost inert, he could not do any rational blows. It was an effect of contusions which are not able to train. This fight should not be compared to my fight with Pudzian, it is impossible.
- Because…
It was real boxing fist fight, and I will fight with strongman and everything will be permitted. I think that when I hit Pudzian in his head I will knock over him on the boards. But if he catch me he will break my backbone.
-Will you knock Pudzian down? But he has got a head like a stone.
A blow in a chin or a temple there is no one who will not feel it. I think that it will be felt as well if someone weighs 80 kilograms as 120 kilograms.
-So you will escape from opponent’ s arms?
I will not let him catch me It will be the end of the fight. Despite the fact there are ways out of every kind of the situation. I am training now the fight to lower blows, just in case.
-Pudzianowski is not so slow and slow-moving. He trained karate he does well with the skipping-rope, so his legs works fast. He may surprise you…
He trained boxing also . But he is not so fast as me. If someone has got so big muscles, he cannot be so fast. It is not physically possible.
-Do you meet with Pudzianowski?
We know each other but our relations much chill. We train however in the same hall in Warsaw but in different time.
-Are there any tickets for the fight?
No there are not. All have been sold in three days. This fight will be the biggest sports event this year. Polsat Channel will broadcast this fight on main channel. I would like to add that I could not prepared so well without Polo Polska Company in Nysa, thanks to this company I could have intensive trainings. If the fight between Najman and Pudzianowski will be successful and emotional it will be possible in great measure thanks to Polo.  -Who has got bigger chance to win according to you?
Everything may happen in this confrontation, it is hard to say what will be the result of this fight. Undoubtedly, Pudzianowski has got physical superiority but he has no boxing knowledge as Najman has.
-So concretely saying what? The ability to hit well?
Also but first of all Pudzianowski is not afraid, he has not got fear in his mentality.
-It is good that he is not afraid…
Not exactly, he does not feel any danger before blow and he hasn’t got mental resistance let him survive. if blows hit him. Najman was hit in the ring many times and he is prepared for pain, blows etc. A strong blow in a jaw may be a shock for Pudzianowski and that may deprive him thinking.
-So he can get panic?
Or he makes not coordinate attack. Both can be fatal to him.
-Who will defeat whom?
I think if Marcin Najman attack smart and will hit Pudzianowski in his head, he can knock him out. A blow of heavyweight contestant may be extremely dangerous even for whom, who has hot such muscles and weight like Pudzianowski. For hit he will react the same like lighter contestant, But if Pudzianowski will catch Najman he will break him and that will be the end of the fight.
